Book review :: Weekend Sewing

Living in the hustle and bustle of New York City, Heather Ross likes to take a moment of personal creative time for herself every once in a while. she calls this time "weekend sewing" time. its the time where she can set up a short project for a few hours or even a few days and just become completely emerged in the fun creative endeavor.
Weekend Sewing is Heathers compilation of fun and easy sewing projects that you can accomplish in a weekend. some will only take a few hours when others are made for a two day project. This book is brightly articulated with great how to illustrations with each pattern and project.  Heather has also put in some great tips and tricks throughout the book for you to play with. yet the first thing you need to do when you open this book is read about Heathers inspiration growing up in the mountains of Vermont in the Introduction, it's such a fun and heartwarming read that totally brings you back to your own childhood.
