as i was image searching today for a new cover, i came across some fantastic illustrators that i have not seen before. one in particular is london based fashion artist/illustrator erin petson. she deals in the endless experimentation of collage. by using her abilitiy to morph her images any way she wants, erin creates very provacative, mysterious charicatures, most seem very detached from the world around them but also very elegant as if they were on another level of living then you and i. this would be an artist that i would absolutly love to see in a gallery showing, just to see how she tames all of those colors and textures...simply amazing!
Such beautiful work! If David Choe was a fashion illustrator, I imagine it would look a lot like this.
