ryan frank :: sustainable living

Product designer Ryan Frank is a perfect example of creating beauty from garbage. Working out of his studio in east London, Ryan salvages wasted surfaces such as old wood, industrial hooks, burlap bags and even tagged surfaces and morphs them into stunning home products and furniture.

below is the "Strata" collection built from salvaged/waste wood from old battered office desks. I love the lines of the various wood grains.
