Laura West, a scottish bookbinder has made my life with her exquisite books!...i don't know how to say how moved i am by the simple elegance of these bound objects.
With a BA in bookbinding, strongly based on historic book structures, she is inspired by how the form of the book has changed throughout time and within different cultures. The forms of her books are each unique because she thrives on the handmade organics of each one. it's getting late tonite so i'll have to include her link tomorrow, i could talk about her forever and still be amazed.
