Shanna Murray :: Back in the saddle

Shanna Murray will be the first one to tell you that handmade really means "time, love and tenderness"! after taking a little hiatus to renew herself, Shanna has relaunched her talents in more then one way. I remember her telling me months ago that she wanted to go in a new direction, a direction that could showcase her talents in a new medium...which is how i felt about my work at the time too. She did not hold back and it was well worth the jump! If you've read her most recent blog posts then you will know how true determination manifests in some people and you will also wonder how how she even had the time to produce these new lovely creations (which she debuted at renegade this past weekend). New tactile creations with cute fuzzy faces and also what i'm most excited about is shanna translating herself on paper through letterpress, some specifically her and some in collaboration with my gal rachael at pistachio press. She will be continuing the update little by little until september where she will then be launching a small fall collection that will coincide with her very first solo show. You go girl, i'm like a proud momma right now!! You are such an inspiration!
